By using the a11y app you are consenting to our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personal information set out in this privacy policy.

Collection of Personal Information: This app version does not require user log-in/authentication. We do not collect, store, use or share any personal information.

On first use, the app will prompt you for permission to “record audio”. The app does not record nor store audio—internally or externally. Access to your device’s microphone is only used ephemerally to identify the video you are watching—again, without recording/storing/transmitting audio—so the app can list matching accessibility options (sign language, captions, audio description, etc.)

No personal usage/consumption history is logged.

Email: If you email the developer for support or other feedback, the emails with email addresses will be retained for quality assurance purposes. The email addresses will be used only to reply to the concerns or suggestions raised and will never be used for any marketing purpose.

Disclosure of Personal Information: We will not disclose your information to any third party except if you expressly consent or where required by law.
